The Fastest Way to Checking Remote Control
Nowadays, lots of home appliances are using the remote control to operate their equipment. The home appliances like TV, DVD Player, Radio, Hifi System, Air-Conditioner, Ceiling Fan and etc are using the remote control to operate. Most of this remote control is using the Infra-Red design to transmit their signals to the equipment and operate it.
Most of the time, we will facing the remote control not function problem at home or in the customer house/office. So what step will you do first? Replace the battery, find another remote control to testing it or using a special/expensive tool to test it? So it will trouble and waste the time to find out the answer right.
I will let you know the fastest way to find out that remote control is work or not! The method is…Just using your smart phone (or phone with camera built-in) camera to testing it! No wonder their front or rear camera also can. Or the digital camera also works to testing it.
Can I use the normal mirror to testing it? The answer is NO. Can I use the Mirror (an App in smart phone) in the smart phone? The answer is Yes. Because it is also use their front camera to view the Infra-Red light too.
For some Remote Control (RC) like Air-conditioner RC, you must press the ON/OFF button once first and then press other button to testing their Infra-red light. If not the Infra-red will not light up and make the wrong decision to think the RC is not working. For your information, this method not only test the whole RC work or not, but it also let you know each button is working or not. Because when you press each button on RC, it will show the different speed & times infra-red light. Some will flash once time, twice, slow flashing, fast flashing and etc.
Conclusion: Although this is a simple tips, but it can help you save your time and let you make sure the remote control is working or not. So that you can quickly to do the next step, replace remote control battery (if that’s no any infra-red light up) or checking the equipment.
